Hi, welcome to misery. We are glad you could finally join us at the bottom of the barrel. We’ve seen you, flaunting your wealth, being all cute like you’re better than us; welcome to misery.

What the rest of the world call rock bottom is our floor, we are comfortable here but your fancy-ass must find this experience so painful; welcome to misery.

To be honest, we may have nothing against you but we’ll celebrate, there’s one less person who’s better than us, we are all in this hell together, welcome to misery.

When they said misery loves company, you didn’t believe it? Here’s your proof, we love the company and will always make effort to hold you back whenever we see you trying to climb up, why would we let you be happy and prosperous? Why would we let you show us what’s possible but requires effort and commitment, who has time to commit to change this crappy life? Of course, not us; welcome to misery.

Do you know what’s amazing? When you find a way out of here, we’ll be the first to applaud and tell everyone how we helped, little would they know the only help we offered was burying you deeper into misery, trying to make you a permanent member of our tribe.

While sharing your greatness with the world, we’ll trash you here in Misery-town, we’ll say how much your success was ill-gotten, heck, we’ll make sure your image is tarnished that no one else would want to have a life like yours; welcome to misery.

If you feel a pang of jealousy every time someone does something nice or achieves something, you’ll fit in right with us here. If you can’t stand other people getting ahead, hey, you’re esteemed citizen of Misery-town; you just don’t know it yet. Take a seat, we will assign you angels of hate to keep you company and throw in angels for rage, inferiority and schadenfreude just in case.

So welcome, to this town. Where we all suffer equally and our biggest goal is to make everyone as miserable as humanly possible.

Welcome to misery.
